What governs using this site and claiming an object through it. Written to be read, not skimmed past.
Who this agreement is with
This site is operated by DOKU. Registered business name and address: [[fill]] — added here once business registration is finalized. By using the site, you're agreeing to these terms with that entity.
What DOKU is
DOKU is a marketplace for one-of-one objects. Every item exists exactly once — we don't manufacture, commission, or restock. When an object is claimed, that listing closes for good.
Browsing and accounts
Browsing the collection and holding items in your cart don't require an account. Completing a purchase does — we use a passwordless sign-in (a link emailed to you, no password to manage or lose).
Prices and currency
Prices are shown converted into your local currency for convenience only. The charge itself is always calculated and processed in Indian Rupees (INR), from the object's real listed price — the currency you see is a display, not a quote.
Payment
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We currently accept domestic (India) payment methods in INR. Card details are entered directly into Razorpay's secure checkout — DOKU never sees or stores them.
What a claim means
A verified payment reserves the object under your name. We confirm the order and ship it to you personally — see Refunds & Cancellations and Shipping for what happens between reservation and delivery.
The objects themselves
Every listing is described and, where photographed, shown as accurately as we can manage. Unsourced items carry a hand-drawn sketch instead of a photo, never an image of something we don't yet hold. Once an object is claimed, it will not be restocked, reissued, or offered again in any form.
Intellectual property
The DOKU name, the site's design, its photography and sketches, and its written content belong to DOKU. Nothing here may be reproduced or reused without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
We take care in how we describe, photograph, and ship each object, but we can't guarantee the site will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, DOKU isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site and its policies evolve. The date below reflects the last change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
